“You decide which is scarier: Obama and Brzezinski or McCain and Henry Kissinginger?”

Either way, Americans will continue to lose?

Every major crisis we face today is directly attributable to policies put forth and executed by members of this Trilateral Commission: Banking/lending/mortgage crisis, energy/gas price crisis, food/shortage/price crisis.”

Editor, The August Review

Both are rigidly backed by important members of the Trilateral Commission who hijacked the Executive Brach of the U.S. government starting in 1976 with the election of Jimmy Carter.

In Obama?s case, Zbigniew Brzezinski (co-founder of the Commission in 1973) is emerging as his principal advisor on foreign policy. Ex-Fed Chairman Paul Volker has made a once-in-a-lifetime, glowing endorsement of Obama. Madelyn Albright is seen sitting next to Obama in several conferences. Shoot, even Jimmy Carter himself endorses Obama. All are top members of the Commission.

John McCain is being supported by several Trilateral Commission giants including: Henry Kissinger, George Schultz, Lawrence Eagleburger and Alexander Haig. All of these are ex-Secretaries of State who issued a joint endorsement of McCain early-on in his campaign.

And, unless Obama shoots both of his own feet (or??) before the general presidential election in November, he is most likely to be the next president of the United States.

You would think that Americans would want to know who the ?special interests? are that are embodied by this Trilateral Commission, and what they intend to do or not do with America.

What is the Trilateral Commission?

The Trilateral Commission was founded by the persistent maneuvering of David Rockefeller and Zbigniew Brzezinski in 1973. Rockefeller was chairman of the ultra-powerful Chase Manhattan Bank, a director of many major multinational corporations and “endowment funds” and had long been a central figure in the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). Brzezinski, a brilliant prognosticator of one-world idealism, was a professor at Columbia University and the author of several books that have served as “policy guidelines” for the Trilateral Commission.

Brzezinski served as the Commission’s first executive director from its inception in 1973 until late 1976 when he was appointed by President Jimmy Carter as Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs.

The initial Commission membership was approximately three hundred, with roughly one hundred each from Europe, Japan and North America. Membership was also roughly divided between academics, politicians and corporate magnates; these included international bankers, leaders of prominent labor unions and corporate directors of media giants.

The word commission was puzzling since it is usually associated with instrumentalities set up by governments. It seemed out of place with a so-called private group unless we could determine that it really was an arm of a government - an unseen government, different from the visible government in Washington. European and Japanese involvement indicated a world government rather than a national government. We hoped that the concept of a sub-rosa world government was just wishful thinking on the part of the Trilateral Commissioners. The facts, however, lined up quite pessimistically.

If the Council on Foreign Relations could be said to be a spawning ground for the concepts of one-world idealism, then the Trilateral Commission was the “task force” assembled to assault the beachheads. Already the Commission had placed its members in the top posts the U.S. had to offer.

Remember Ron Paul telling the Senate last month that something big was about to happen? MSM covers John Edwards’ affair meanwhile Rome burns. This is not good for the price of oil. I included a piece regarding the the pipeline the previous day from PrisonPlanet becuase MSM is completely mum and John McCain is loud.

Bombs rocked Tbilisi early Saturday morning as the fight between Georgia and Russia over a breakaway region intensified and moved into the Georgian capital.

Government buildings, including the Parliament, were evacuated when the bombs fell.

Heavy casualties have reported on both sides since Russian forces moved Friday into South Ossetia, a pro-Russian autonomous region of Georgia.

Russian bombers were targeting Georgia?s economic infrastructure, National Security Council secretary Alexander Lomaia said, including the country?s largest Black Sea port, Poti, and the main road connecting the southern part of Georgia with the east and the airport.

Georgian television reported that the port had been destroyed.

Georgia, a former Soviet state, sent troops into South Ossetia on Thursday, aiming to crack down on the separatists, who want independence or unification with North Ossetia, which is in Russia. Russia responded Friday, sending troops into the Georgian province where it had peacekeepers stationed.

?I saw bodies lying on the streets, around ruined buildings, in cars,? Lyudmila Ostayeva, a resident of the South Ossetia capital, Tskhinvali, told The Associated Press on Friday.

?It?s impossible to count them now. There is hardly a single building left undamaged,? she said after fleeing to a village near the Russian border, AP reported.

FROM YESTERDAY’S PRISON PLANET REPORT

In addition, the pro-Israeli news source DebkaFile reports that Georgian infantry units were ?aided by Israeli military advisors? in capturing the capital of breakaway South Ossetia, Tskhinvali earlier today.

DebkaFile elaborates on the true geopolitical significance behind today?s events.

DEBKAfile?s geopolitical experts note that on the surface level, the Russians are backing the separatists of S. Ossetia and neighboring Abkhazia as payback for the strengthening of American influence in tiny Georgia and its 4.5 million inhabitants. However, more immediately, the conflict has been sparked by the race for control over the pipelines carrying oil and gas out of the Caspian region.

The Russians may just bear with the pro-US Georgian president Mikhail Saakashvili?s ambition to bring his country into NATO. But they draw a heavy line against his plans and those of Western oil companies, including Israeli firms, to route the oil routes from Azerbaijan and the gas lines from Turkmenistan, which transit Georgia, through Turkey instead of hooking them up to Russian pipelines.

Jerusalem owns a strong interest in Caspian oil and gas pipelines reach the Turkish terminal port of Ceyhan, rather than the Russian network. Intense negotiations are afoot between Israel Turkey, Georgia, Turkmenistan and Azarbaijan for pipelines to reach Turkey and thence to Israel?s oil terminal at Ashkelon and on to its Red Sea port of Eilat. From there, supertankers can carry the gas and oil to the Far East through the Indian Ocean.

Former Treasury Secretary under Ronald Reagan, Paul Craig Roberts, told The Alex Jones Show today that the entire scenario smacked of a maneuver on behalf of the Neo-Con faction controlling the White House, led by Dick Cheney. Roberts said the date was precisely picked due to the distraction of the Olympics and Bush being out of the country.

Both Condoleezza Rice and John McCain have today demanded Russia withdraw its forces from Georgia immediately.

Starting drilling down into the plan presented by Hillary and Obama and what you find is that the five health insurance companies that will provide these services are owned by Rockefellers. Health care will also become mandatory. Gotta get those shots if you want them are not. Don’t forget that Rockefeller was one of Hillary’s biggest corporate benefactors.

The Washington Post

PITTSBURGH — Democrats shaped a set of principles Saturday that commits the party to guaranteed health care for all, heading off a potentially divisive debate and edging the party closer to the position of Barack Obama’s defeated rival, Hillary Rodham Clinton.

The party’s platform committee moved smoothly through a range of issues for the fall campaign and approved a document that will go to the Democratic convention in Denver later this month for adoption.

There was little dissent _ or room for it _ in the day’s meeting and a compromise on health policy took one flash-point off the table.

Obama, soon to be the Democratic nominee, has stopped short of proposing to mandate health coverage for all. He aims to achieve something close to universal coverage by making insurance more affordable and helping struggling families pay for it.

Advisers to Obama and Clinton both told the party’s platform meeting they were happy with the compromise, adopted without opposition or without explanation as to how health care would be guaranteed.

In return for the guarantee, activists dropped a tougher platform amendment seeking a government-run, single-payer system and another amendment explicitly holding out Clinton’s plan as the one to follow.

The party now declares itself “united behind a commitment that every American man, woman and child be guaranteed to have affordable, comprehensive health care.”

“The real battle today is between Americans and globalists. Between those who believe in constitutional government, national sovereignty and independence, secure borders, and putting America first, and those who want to merge the United States into some kind of global New World Order.”

NewsWithViews

By Chuck Baldwin

Both Republican Party Presidential candidate John McCain and Democrat Party Presidential candidate Barack Obama recently spoke at the annual convention of the National Council of La Raza. I’m sure most readers understand that “La Raza” is Spanish for “The Race.”

That McCain and Obama would pander before an organization such as La Raza indicates just how deeply both the Republican and Democrat parties are committed to appeasing the pro-illegal immigration forces. And mark it down: there is not a more pro-illegal alien organization in existence than La Raza.

As a comparison: can one imagine the maelstrom that would be created within the mainstream media if both major-party Presidential candidates appeared before a gathering of an all-white organization called “The Race”?

As if having the two major-party Presidential candidates appear before La Raza isn’t enough, the current occupant of the White House, President George W. Bush, is also on record as supporting the goals of La Raza. Remember, it was George W. Bush, along with Senators John McCain, Ted Kennedy, and Lindsey Graham, who did everything within their power to coerce both houses of Congress into passing a sweeping amnesty bill for illegal aliens. Only a unified and thunderous protest from millions of average Americans defeated their efforts.

President Bush’s support for La Raza is also demonstrated by the fact that the Bush administration (with the aid and assistance of Congress) has given millions of taxpayer dollars to the pro-illegal alien group.

I came across this link in Frosty Wooldridge’s new editorial. Very interesting read with links to a 1974 Trilateral Commission document and Stanford study. Both worth the read when you have a little time, even if it is only a fast scan of the pages.

…The government was looking forward to a very troubling future, trying to figure out the best path through it. The plan was to find ways to shape and mold mankind into a new cultural image, complete with new ideas and ideologies, even religious ones. The root of the problem was human nature, and solution was to reshape the competing forces of daily life, in order to forge a new image of a new human nature. The researchers were brutally honest in seeking all available knowledge pertaining to their research, and in assessing the current common image of man-on-earth.

The research revealed that there were a multitude of crises that were about to intersect in America’s near future. Not the least of these converging catastrophes was a rapidly approaching breakdown of both American capitalism and democracy. The collapse was a natural result of globalism and monopoly capitalism. The basic greed that powers the system eroded the American political and economic structures, exposing the foundation of immorality and unfairness that amplifies the social unrest. The Stanford researchers clearly predicted that the American economy was destined to collapse from its own dead weight. The data also showed that that economic collapse was to be accompanied by disastrous social repercussions, such as rioting and upheaval, which would lead us into a “garrison state.”

The thing about this research is that this work has confirmed that our economy based on parasitic capitalism, where the small elite sits atop the heap of men and gorges on their lifeblood, is destroying the social fabric of America. This system is based on a stacked deck, where the top elite always reap the profits that are made to rise to the top through the corporate profits-based system. The research confirmed that the growing inequities of such a system were ever increasing and with them, elevated social tensions. A system based on usury and putting everyone in the “poor house” is an economic order that is guaranteed to produce a democratic revolution, whenever the misery index of the armed populace exceeds the limits that they are willing to peacefully bear, without striking back at the source of their misery.

Changing Images of Man predicts an American economic collapse and a “garrison” (police) state,” if the overwhelming inequities of our economic system are not corrected by powerful multinationals making more humane decisions. Alternatives to this doomsday scenario are discussed, all of which point to the need to devote all available resources towards transforming the image of man, changing man’s nature, instead of altering the corrupted economic system which has brought America to this dire state. In this government study it was inappropriate to denounce the evil culprits behind all our troubles (who pull the strings on government itself), even though the task was to document and remedy the damage that they have done. Instead, they are cited as the hopeful “saviors,” that we should look to for help and leadership. The hypocrisy of the hegemons! The authors admit that it is “utopian in 1974 to think of the multinational corporations as potentially among our most effective mechanisms for husbanding the earth’s resources and optimizing their use for human benefit — the current popular image of the corporation tends to be more that of the spoiler and the exploiter.”

Instead of charging the people who are responsible for our situation (such as men like David Rockefeller), for manipulating our economy and our democracy to maximize their profits, the multi-national corporations and their owners were exalted as the potential saviors of mankind. Rockefeller and the elite have consistently taken steps to dominate the world by controlling people through “humanitarian” projects which, in the end, turn out to be profit mechanisms. The “green revolution” to spread corporate farming to the Third World has been the key to globalization’s destabilizing of world labor markets, in order to create populations of “refugee workers,” who are willing to go anywhere to find work for slave wages. This is the cause of the wave of illegal immigration into the US from Mexico. This is part of the proof that there are powerful individuals who are using their economic power to undermine nations in a long-term scheme to gain control of nations and multiply their profits.

Here David Rockefeller admits media collusion with his one world plans: “We are grateful to the Washington Post, the New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subjected to the light of publicity during those years. But now the world is more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government. The supra-national sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto-determination practiced in past centuries.”…

Once the transformation becomes apparent, social stability will become a problem, especially when society feels pushed by overextending the simulative stage. Actions taken to increase the polarization between “transformation enthusiasts and the conservatives” are called “constructive,” except when it is desirable to take actions that “contribute to social cohesion.” They were searching for the best path to bring about a controlled deconstruction of everything that “America” means and the reconstruction of a new improved vision of America. They are midwifes to the delivery of the “New World Order,” as they go about the dirty business of guiding society through that predicted period of “friendly fascism.”

Suicide? That was very convienent. No open court testimony to worry about.

The Washington Post

For nearly seven years, scientist Bruce E. Ivins and a small circle of fellow anthrax specialists at Fort Detrick’s Army medical lab lived in a curious limbo: They served as occasional consultants for the FBI in the investigation of the deadly 2001 anthrax attacks, yet they were all potential suspects.

Over lunch in the bacteriology division, nervous scientists would share stories about their latest unpleasant encounters with the FBI and ponder whether they should hire criminal defense lawyers, according to one of Ivins’s former supervisors. In tactics that the researchers considered heavy-handed and often threatening, they were interviewed and polygraphed as early as 2002, and reinterviewed numerous times. Their labs were searched, and their computers and equipment carted away.

The FBI eventually focused on Ivins, whom federal prosecutors were planning to indict when he committed suicide last week. In interviews yesterday, knowledgeable officials asserted that Ivins had the skills and access to equipment needed to turn anthrax bacteria into an ultra-fine powder that could be used as a lethal weapon. Court documents and tapes also reveal a therapist’s deep concern that Ivins, 62, was homicidal and obsessed with the notion of revenge.

Yet, colleagues and friends of the vaccine specialist remained convinced that Ivins was innocent: They contended that he had neither the motive nor the means to create the fine, lethal powder that was sent by mail to news outlets and congressional offices in the late summer and fall of 2001. Mindful of previous FBI mistakes in fingering others in the case, many are deeply skeptical that the bureau has gotten it right this time.

A little off the immigration path but still a symptom of the New World Order problem.

Full page adverts in weekend newspapers ask kids to rat on their friends and family in order to prevent “climate crimes”

A leading British energy company blitzed the newspapers with full page colour advertisements this weekend which encourage children to sign up as ?climate cops? and keep ?climate crime case files? on their families, friends and neighbours.

The ads, run by Npower, promote a website at www.climatecops.com where ?trainees? must complete three missions before they can join the ?elite cadets? and ?train to become a climate cop?.

These missions basically consist of a barrage of eco propaganda which the child must simply engage in in order to be accepted as a special agent of the green brigade.

The site offers a selection of downloads, including a pack of ?climate crime cards?, which instruct recruits to spy on families, friends and relatives, encouraging each of them to build up a written ?climate crime case file?.

?Report back to your family to make sure they don?t commit those crimes again (or else)!? one section states, before reminding recruits to keep a watchful eye on parents and even extend their web further. ?What about the homes of aunts and uncles, or friends from school?? it suggests.

LONDON — Britain’s highest appeals court is scheduled to decide this week whether a divorced woman and her son should be deported to Lebanon, where she claims her abusive husband will gain custody under Sharia law.

The case will address the issue of Islamic law and the extent to which Britain is obliged to provide asylum to those wishing to flee countries that practice it.

Lawyers acting for the 34-year-old woman are expected to tell the House of Lords on Monday that her human rights would be violated if she were forced to return to Lebanon. They plan to argue that she has a right to a family life that will be lost in Lebanon.

According to Sharia, or Islamic law, that operates in Lebanon, a divorced mother can only have custody of her children until their seventh birthday. After that, the father can claim custody, and the mother will only be awarded visitation rights.

woman, known only as EM, sought asylum after she came to Britain with false papers in December 2004 with her 8-year-old son. She told immigration officials she had divorced her violent husband in an Islamic court in Lebanon and came to Britain to retain custody of her child.

Her name has not been disclosed because she fears she may be in danger if she is forced to return to Lebanon.

Her asylum application was rejected in 2005. Judges who presided over her two consequent appeals agreed that she would lose custody of her child and possibly face prison for kidnapping charges if she returned to Lebanon. But they argued that she is obliged to live under the laws of her own country.

Judge William Gage, who rejected her appeal in November 2006, said she would still have some visitation rights in Lebanon, so her rights to family life “cannot be said to be completely nullified.”

THE HAGUE, Netherlands ? The U.N.’s highest court ordered U.S. authorities today to do everything possible to halt the executions of five Mexicans in Texas until their cases are reviewed.

The Bush administration has unsuccessfully tried to get Texas courts to review the cases and said it expected the World Court’s order to have little impact.

The World Court told U.S. authorities in 2004 to review the cases of 51 Mexicans sentenced to death by state courts after finding they had been denied the right to seek help from consular officials.

The World Court has no enforcement powers but President Bush issued a directive to the Texas courts to abide by the 2004 ruling. The state courts refused to review the cases and the U.S. Supreme Court ruled 6-3 in March that the president cannot compel the state courts to comply.

Mexico turned again to the U.N. court in The Hague last month, arguing that the United States was defying the 2004 World Court order and asking the judges to issue an emergency injunction to stop the killings of five men whose executions were imminent.

Chief State Department advocate John B. Bellinger III argued that the World Court, the U.N.’s judicial arm for resolving disputes among nations, lacked jurisdiction because the Bush administration agreed with Mexico and there was no dispute.

“It almost never happens that the federal government enters an appearance in state court proceedings,” he said, calling the Bush administration’s intervention “highly unusual.”

Mexico’s chief advocate, Juan Manuel Gomez-Robledo, told the court the U.S. was nonetheless “in breach of its international obligations.” He said international law applies not only to nations, but to their component states and asked the court to clarify its earlier ruling and in the meantime intercede with the U.S. authorities to halt the schedule of executions.

The U.N. judges ruled 7-5 today that it would consider Mexico’s case and also try to stop the executions.

The World Court acknowledged that the U.S. federal government “has been taking many diverse and insistent measures” to persuade Texas not to carry out the execution of any of the 51 Mexicans covered by the original 2004 ruling.

Worldwide slavery in full view thanks to cheap labor and the exploitation of humans by The Elites. The New World Order is the enemy.

The Washington Post

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia — Domestic workers in Saudi Arabia often suffer abuse that in some cases amounts to slavery, as well as sexual violence and lashings for spurious allegations of theft or witchcraft, a human rights group said Tuesday.

A 133-page report by Human Rights Watch urged Saudi Arabia to implement labor, immigration and criminal justice reforms to protect the workers, saying employers often face no punishment for abusing their employees.

Rather than receiving justice, the report said that domestic workers _ most of them from Asia _ are more likely to face counteraccusations of witchcraft, theft or adultery.

“In the best cases, migrant women in Saudi Arabia enjoy good working conditions and kind employers, and in the worst they’re treated like virtual slaves. Most fall somewhere in between,” said Nisha Varia, a senior researcher at Human Rights Watch.

According to the report, the kingdom employs an estimated 1.5 million domestic workers, primarily from Indonesia, Sri Lanka, the Philippines and Nepal. Smaller numbers come from other Asian countries and from Africa. They are denied rights afforded to other workers under Saudi labor laws, Human Rights Watch said.

“The Saudi government should extend labor law protections to domestic workers and reform the visa sponsorship system so that women desperate to earn money for their families don’t have to gamble with their lives,” Varia said.

Suhaila Hammad of Saudi Arabia’s National Society for Human Rights dismissed the report as “unfair and one-sided.”

“I wish that when rights groups do their reports they would listen to both sides of the story,” Hammad told The Associated Press. “We’re being unjustly portrayed, and the crimes against us by the workers are never mentioned.”

Hammad said crime rates in the kingdom have increased in recent years because of offenses committed by foreign workers. The country is also home to 5.6 million foreign workers employed in sectors such as oil, business and engineering.

“They smuggle drugs, they turn apartments into liquor factories, they practice prostitution, they steal and sometimes they kill,” she said.

“It’s true that some of the workers suffer, but we also as a society are suffering from them too,” she added.

WASHINGTON - Global warming probably will mean more illegal immigration and humanitarian disasters, undermining shaky governments and possibly expanding the terrorism threat against the U.S., intelligence agencies say.

“Logic suggests the conditions exacerbated (by climate change) would increase the pool of potential recruits for terrorism,” said Tom Fingar, deputy director of national intelligence for analysis.

Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East and Central and Southeast Asia are most vulnerable to warming-related drought, flooding, extreme weather and hunger. The assessment warns of a global spillover from increased migration and water-related disputes, Fingar said in prepared remarks Wednesday to a joint hearing of a special House committee on global warming and a House Intelligence subcommittee.

Climate change alone would not topple governments, he said. But it could worsen problems such as poverty, disease, migration and hunger, creating conditions that could destabilize already vulnerable areas, Fingar said.

But he warned that efforts to reduce global warming by changing energy policies “may affect U.S. national security interests even more than the physical impacts of climate change itself.”

“The operative word there is ‘may,’ we don’t know,” Fingar said.

The assessment of global climate change through 2030 is one in a series of periodic intelligence reports that offer the consensus of top analysts at all 16 spy agencies on foreign policy, security and global economic issues. Congress requested the report last year. The assessment is classified as confidential.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has teamed up with the Mexican government to open an office in Mexico City to share information and cooperate on investigations.

The office ? known as a Trade Transparency Unit ? will help ?identify and eliminate trade-based money laundering systems, which facilitate the illegal movement of criminal proceeds across international borders,? said ICE, in a press release Thursday.

The money often fuels drug smuggling, human trafficking and terrorism, ICE said.

The announcement was made by Julie Myers (pictured), who heads ICE, and her Mexican counterpart, Juan Jose Bravo Moises, administrator general for Mexico Customs.

ICE said that Mexico Customs provided ?an incredible volume of trade data - three full years worth of transactions.?

?Mexico?s cooperation has proven unprecedented and is the largest such initiative ICE has undertaken in our efforts to combat the rise in complex and sophisticated financial and trade crimes around the world,? Myers said.

A United Nations human rights official has postponed a planned visit to inspect the treatment of immigrant workers in Prince William County, according to the activist group Mexicans Without Borders. The group had welcomed the outside scrutiny, saying the county’s illegal-immigration policies have “created a climate where suspicion and terror thrive.”

Jorge A. Bustamante, a U.N. special rapporteur for human rights of migrants, called off a visit planned for yesterday and today. In a letter to Mexicans Without Borders, Bustamante cited “something unexpected of extreme gravity” that was “totally outside of my control” as a reason and did not indicate when he would reschedule the trip.

Opponents of illegal immigrants in the county had planned to protest Bustamante’s trip, during which he intended to meet with county officials as well as immigrant residents.
