aztlan baby

The number of Hispanic babies born in Tennessee has increased from 444 in 1990 to 7,885 in 2006, according to state department of health data.

The state does not track whether parents of those babies are in the country legally.

?Go back 15 years and there were almost no Latinos in the South Eastern United States,?? said Jeff Passel, a demographer with the Pew Hispanic Center. ?The growth of the Hispanic population in Tennessee and the South East has been notable.??

The Hispanic birth rate in Tennessee far outpaces the nation, Hispanic births almost doubled from 1990 to 2006, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

I’d really like to see what the percentage of welfare babies that is part of this total. I am sorry, but if you can’t afford to raise your kid then don’t bring any into the world until you can.

It’s just too easy to know the government will back you up for years if you can’t do it on your own. Those cheap jobs the illegal immigrants are taking don’t turn out to be so cheap. And you can sue me for assuming that some of these births are from poor illegal immigrants who need assistance from our government. The truth needs to be told.

I like the truth. There is nothing cheap about all this anchor baby stuff. Anybody who don’t realize this probably hires illegals. Hiring illegals is a way for people to cheat the tax-payers. Of course illegals are flocking to the U.S. How many other governments reward people for having babies they can’t take care of?

Why should somebody get a higher wage just because they made a baby? Other people need money too? Food Stamps, WIC, and other free stuff is like giving them a higher wage.

People I know like my parents who grew up in the 40’s and 50’s talk about how large families had to cook a lot of beans to get by because they didn’t have all this free stuff. If you had too many kids you just did without. Did without almost anything. Nobody seemed to care and my parents wonder why our government gives a dam now.

Some of my younger cousins have asked me if I think all those poverty stories my aunts and uncles tell is real, like they just can’t believe it. Why would all my relatives born in the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s tell the same stories if they were not true? Kids on Food Stamps think they know what poverty is, but some Americans really had poverty in the 40’s and 50’s.

Today, people think poverty means going in the grocery store and buying whatever you want to eat and paying for it with food stamps. I bet the illegal aliens know how lucky they are to have food stamps. It will take a swat team to deport each one.

I do see the correlation between disease control and these types of births….hmmm.

That’s a good picture, huh. I didn’t make it though. It’s been floating around on the internet for a long time. I’m not sure who made it.

Now this is one of those bs statistics put out there for people to comment on in spite of common sense. what about the other states like ca, ny, fl, etc. in those states the birth rates from hispanics illegal and otherwise have gone thru the roof. these numbers are small change. many of these births in places like tenn. are from illegals from all over latin and central america, not just mexico. they poured in like rain after katrina to get the jobs in new orleans and have spead out dropping babies along the way.

But damn, strangely this time, there’s no environmental group screaming “0 Population Growth! You’re killing this planet! We can’t go on like this! There’s NO movies like: Soylent Green, Roller Ball and Logan’s Run. … Even Star Trek back then did an episode regarding the subject of “too many people.”

I read some where Ten. was have problems with medicare for the elderly? But they got money for ILLEGALS to drop babys all over the place!! Out of that ## how many did we pay for,and are still paying for(CAL. FL. GA. NC. SC. AZ. NM. TEX. LA.) and so on ????

I think doctors prefer making money off pregnant woman. Most don’t really need any prenatal care and should be able to have the baby at home. It’s a nice job for the doctor. The doctor just prescribes WIC and everybody is happy. Elderly get sick and that is not fun to deal with. If the anchor baby is sick the illegals are happy because their “little citizen” can get SSI.

no money’s being made … that’s why the hospitals are going under.

  13. melody says:

In this video (seems like I saw a better quality copy of it but I can’t find it)
Dr. Madeleine Cosman, tells Lou Dobbs at about 4 minutes into the video that some of the doctors are happy to hear somebody tell the truth about the cost of the anchor babies, but some don’t want to believe it. Some don’t want to believe the illegals are causing the hospitals to close.

So, I wrote my post thinking that some doctors don’t care where the money comes from as long as they get paid. I’m thinking being a doctor for pregnant women with normal pregnancies is not as depressing as treating something like cancer or heart disease.

I think some doctors want to believe the money would and should come from the tax-payers. I think even the free clinics pay doctors something. Most doctors don’t work for free. I don’t know too many people who will keep working if they don’t get paid.

  14. seven_staarten says:

‘Most doctors don?t work for free’

… they’re paying student loans, and, (obgyns in particular) extortive malpractice insurance rates.

i’d like to find stats on suits filed re anchor baby births that went medically wrong.

I don’t know what to believe. I know our leaders lie about unemployed Americans. They say there is work Americans wont do, but what do people think happened to all the U.S. citizens who use to do the cleaning, contruction, hotel, fast food, restaurant, meat cutting, factory, etc?

Then they tell us we don’t have enough doctors and other high tech people and want to hand out more H1B visas. So if Americans didn’t get special job training than what happened to the Americans who got replaced by illegals???

The anchor baby thing is a mess. If our leaders want the illegals to get free doctor attended births, they will somehow get it. They know what to do: Go to the religious people and those who love newborn babies, and talk about dead babies that were still born. The money will come from the tax-payers who will demand that the illegals can get free c-sections so those babies can live. Some people really love babies and the babies seem to put a magic spell on them. I don’t know the statistics on how many babies die if they don’t have access to a hospital birth, but our leaders know how to induce panic and talk about the cases like it is happening every minute.

Our leaders may decide that being a doctor is now another job that Americans wont do anymore, then be sneaky and give the green card doctors medical malpractice insurance waivers so they don’t have to worry about being sued and can earn money. Anyway, I’m just guessing.
