WASHINGTON ? Three Mexican police chiefs have requested political asylum in the U.S. as violence escalates in the Mexican drug wars and spills across the U.S. border, a top Homeland Security official told The Associated Press.

In the past few months, the police officials have shown up at the U.S. border, fearing for their lives, according to Jayson Ahern, the deputy commissioner of Customs and Border Protection.

“They’re basically abandoned by their police officers or police departments in many cases,” Ahern told AP.

Ahern said the Mexican officials ? whom he didn’t name ? are being interviewed and their cases are under review for possible asylum.

In the most recent high-level assassination, a top-ranking official on a local Mexican police force was shot more than 50 times and killed. Drug-related violence killed more than 2,500 people last year alone in Mexico.

“It’s almost like a military fight,” Ahern said Tuesday. “I don’t think that generally the American public has any sense of the level of violence that occurs on the border.”

As the cartels fight for territory, this carnage spills over to the U.S., Ahern said ? from bullet-ridden people stumbling into U.S. territory, to rounds of ammunition coming across U.S. entry ports.

U.S. humvees retrofitted with steel mesh over the glass windows patrol parts of the border to protect agents against guns shots and large rocks regularly thrown at them. At times agents are pinned down by sniper fire as people try to illegally cross into the U.S.

Mexico’s drug cartels have long divided the border, with each controlling key cities. But over the past decade Mexico has arrested or killed many of the gangs’ top leaders, creating a power vacuum and throwing lucrative drug routes up for the taking.

I hear Sweden is nice this time of year, why not petition them for asylum? If they can get ya in Mexico, they can get ya in the US.

  2. Rob Chapman says:

When are the MEXICAN PEOPLE going to stand up to THEIR government and take action into their own hands to end the terror the plagues THEIR country?

I am so G-D sick and tired of Mexicans making their problems our problems.

Your so proud of Mexico? Waving Mexican flags about? Why don’t you fix your own country. Stay the Hell away from the US.

    Your not wanted here.

    Rob Chapman:

What a great post. I could feel, live and breath your discontent and utter disgust. Your feelings are shared by millions upon millions of Americans including Me and My Family.

  4. MatthewNo Gravatar says:

And as for the mexican pussy police. Well I am quite sure that they can get a job as a police officer in any one of these disgusting “sanctuary city’s” that dot the the U.S like the measles. Shit, they already know the language over here and have a keen 7th sense for filth and decay.

VIVA LA MIGRA AND THE 2ND AMMENDMENT!!

  5. Eddie B.No Gravatar says:

So are these guys coimg here “to do the work Americans won’t do” too?

This is one job we don’t need either. I am with Rob. Let the Mexicans deal with this one.

WE HAVE ENOUGH CORRUPTION HERE. STAY AT HOME. FIX YOUR OWN COUNTRY.

  6. melodyNo Gravatar says:

Steele has a great idea. Swedon would be better. Why seek asylum in the U.S. when there are millions of Mexican nationals all over our country? Where could they safely live in the U.S.?

  7. SkyPainterNo Gravatar says:

The irony of it all Eddie!

These so called “police” can’t do their job in Mexico and now want to come over here and take our jobs… then when we complain, they will cry and acuse us of not letting them do the jobs that “American Police won’t do”…. LOL… shit man… LOL!!! Never mind they can’t do their job in Mexico. LOL LOL LOL.

    DEPORT THEM ALL NOW!

I am guessing that “Political Asylum” means that they will get an instant green card, a safe place to live and a decent Govt. Job, like working for the DHS or some other bloated Government agency. I wonder how big this problem really is though. We may only know a small piece of this story but I DO know that when Police Chiefs in Meheeko are running for their lives, things are really, REALLY out of control at the border…This only proves that the “War on Terror” is a big, fat lie. We are burning the Constitution to save ourselves from Osama (or whoever) but the Narco-Lords are kicking on our back door. I think about this every time I irradiate myself in airport x-rays or get patted down by TSA officials . We should all feel safe now, right?

  9. JohnnyNo Gravatar says:

Yea so what! 30 million illegal immigrants from Mexico are already here seeking political asylum!

Man my head is spinning on this one!

?They?re basically abandoned by their police officers or police departments in many cases,? Ahern told AP.

hummm……just like our police chiefs here that try to arrest and deport invader criminals!

?It?s almost like a military fight,? Ahern said Tuesday. ?I don?t think that generally the American public has any sense of the level of violence that occurs on the border.?

now you have made a deal to bring these so called frightened “police chiefs” here. and what? start then with jobs at 100,000 dollars plus because of their experience and the face that they can communicate with mexican trash in their own language. the real deal is , if these guys were straight they would have NEVER made chief in the land of corruption and patronage. i buy not of this b*llsh*t! not now, not ever!

now ain’t that the truth, cuz if they did, they would string sutton up, impeach jerkoff, chaney and bush etc. free our falsely imprisones border guards, bring in our military to the border, equip our border guards with the best equipment , hire more guards, deport ALL illegals and close our freaking borders, but i forgot, we are a nation of cowards and we lack the balls to act. we can only shout from this side that mexicans need to straighten out their country which has always been a cesspool, while we are allowing our traitors within to sell our a$$es down the river. what freaking hypocracy! shame on us!

As the cartels fight for territory, this carnage spills over to the U.S., Ahern said ? from bullet-ridden people stumbling into U.S. territory, to rounds of ammunition coming across U.S. entry ports.

now if that ain’t a b*llsh*t statement, i don’t know what is. those cartels are openly in this country and move freely accross the border. they shoot and kill our border guards at will. they come here and kipnap american citizens….what crap! our guards are NOT ALLOWED to fight back. stop trying to pull my chain!

At times agents are pinned down by sniper fire as people try to illegally cross into the U.S.

yeah, and these b*st*ards are not drug dealers, but criminal invaders, that this gov’t turns a blind eye to and threatens to arrest border guards if they do their job!

    now you have mad

As these degenerate parasites gather here more and more, they will bring that same drug icrazed violence along with them…where will we go for asylum? Nothing less than mass deportation of illegal and their cowbird/anchor babies (regardles of their age) and putting U.S. troops on the border will save this conuntry from being turned into the same clogged toilet bowl that is mexico/latin america.

  12. joNo Gravatar says:

posted got a little mixed up, but i guess what i am saying is clear enough
    .

Remember a while back I suggested that they are going to implement something like this to grant all illegal aliens asylum? Well, the wheels are a turning. Come shortly after the election, expect the msm to start talking about mhekico more and more about a civil war there. They are trying harder than ever to convince the U.S. that we should allow all of mhekico to come here and take our jobs and steal our money.

  14. OldRedNo Gravatar says:

There is no government in Mexico, its anarchy. Police are as corrupt and criminal as the drug lords and their armies. All the more reason to seal the border, and guard it with our own troops.

    End the flow of invaders.
    End the flow of drugs.
End the flow of our tax dollars to social services for non-citizens and bilingual (culture destroying) programs.

  15. melodyNo Gravatar says:

I guess our leaders will do anything to get amnesty for all of Mexico. They might be staging fake wars to browbeat sympathy out of us with life or death sob stories.

  16. joNo Gravatar says:

declared war makes aslyum guaranteed to those that can get here. i predicted that this would happen, not because i am smart, but because it was just another thing that was obvious. the traitors here need the drug dealers “there” for many reasons and creating a “war” scenario is one of them to push the plan along. we have to “protect of friends” right? hahahahahaha

  17. joNo Gravatar says:

remember that there will be no pretense of border guarding from july forward, our president already told us that.
