Keep Calling the Senate Judiciary Committee

With the Senate Judiciary Committee set to mark up immigration legislation authored by Chairman Arlen Specter on Thursday, the time to act is now in order to make your voice heard.

The committee will begin by considering the Specter proposal that contains an unlimited guest worker amnesty program which invites the entire illegal alien population of 11-13 million to participate. Moreover, neither the illegal aliens nor new guest workers will be required to return to their countries of origin once the “guest” work period ends, because the legislation gives the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security the authority to waive any required departure.

Don’t let Senator Specter’s war on the American worker succeed. Call his office and tell him there is no excuse for selling out American workers. Also tell him that it’s about time the cheap labor lobby took a back seat to homeland security and the security of the American middle class. After calling his office, call the other members of the Senate Judiciary Committee and give them the same message.

HELL YEAH WATCHDOG!!!!! repeatedly and every damn day of this week. at the risk of my job and reputation too. anyone around who would halfway listen I begged em I really dont know if anyone else called. most people just snicker quietly and think that…I dont know what. too busy worrying about the game or what ever I guess.

  4. Jalira Says:

I’m not only going to call them all, but I will post these phone #’s on my myspace save our state group as well.

I’ve made these call to every Senator on the committee. They are starting to feel the heat. Be polite, (the staffers are usually unpaid interns or low-paid law students) and ask them how many calls they are receiving against the Amnesty/Travesty bill (both Specter and McCain-Kennedy). Several of my friends have recently signed on with and are doing so as well. Numbers reports an additional 5,000 new people have joined their action alerts this week! When hundreds of thousands of citizens voice their concerns directly, the Senate cannot ignore this. We vote, and although corporations can give big bucks, they can’t vote.

Jalira; That is good. but I say to you and to all posters here, SEND LINKS TO THIS SITE ALSO!!!!! It seems like there are only 6 or 7 of us standing around talking. Good sites need promotion and great sites need a BIG BOOST. Ive said it before and Ill say it again, the video feature here is the best in this whole sphere of cyberspace. LETS GENERATE SOME HEAT OVER HERE!

  7. The Watchdog Says:

Not that I want to divert people away from my own site but most people prefer to discuss things in internet forums. I post on them everyday. In fact many of the people who post here know me from those forums or they are people that I rally with.

The best sites on the web to get involved with are no doubt NumbersUSA and FAIR.
