Invasion Masquerading As Immigration

Film Director Ronald F. Maxwell wrote a fantastic Op-Ed piece.

Washington Times

What is happening on the southern border is unprecedented. Not only in our own history, but in the history of the world. No country at any time anywhere has sustained the influx of tens of millions of foreigners across its borders. A wave of anti-American leftism is sweeping Latin America. A socialist radical may soon be elected as the president of Mexico, a country which officially encourages its emigrants to vote in Mexican elections, urging them to think of themselves as Mexican first and perhaps only. The eventual outcome is plain for anyone with eyes to see. This is invasion masquerading as immigration.

It may already be too late to avoid a future annexation of the Southwest by Mexico or the evolution of a Mexican-dominated satellite state. This is not to say Mexican people are better or worse than any of God’s children. It is to say that millions of ethnically and culturally homogeneous people will seek self-determination in a land they will increasingly feel justified in claiming as their own. Especially when the natural weight of demographic change is accompanied by the soundtrack of radical demagoguery which seeks to legitimize and moralize this phenomenon as a “reconquista.” Many pundits claim you will be remembered in history as the president who won (or lost) the war in Iraq. I see it differently. I believe you will come to be seen, in the years and decades to come, as the President who saved (or lost) the Southwest of the United States.

When I watched the Senate Judiciary Committee’s one-day public session on immigration reform (I suppose we should be grateful that Sen. Arlen Specter devoted one whole day out of his busy schedule for the public discussion of a problem regarding 20 million illegal aliens) it was remarkable for the near absence of any senator speaking on behalf of the American people or their own constituents. It seems the overriding concern of most senators of both parties is for the illegal immigrant population. Perhaps these senators should be reminded that they are supposed to represent and defend American citizens, not foreign nationals, illegal aliens or indeed anyone else. Listening to the self-serving and pandering speeches, you’d think the senators were elected in Mexico or any other country on the globe except America.

Where was the concern for American schoolchildren forced to sit in overcrowded classes, for American patients forced to wait in overcrowded hospitals, for American workers whose wages are being undercut, for American drivers forced to sit in interminable traffic jams in over-whelmed freeway systems, for the victims of organized gangs, for the American college students who are turned away from publicly funded state universities, for many African Americans who are being literally displaced from their neighborhoods while being moved figuratively, once again, to the back of the bus, for those environmentalists and conservationists who want to protect open space and slow down urban sprawl, for the American taxpayers who have had to bear the burden of billions of dollars in increased welfare costs, over-burdened prisons, extra police and security and even, adding insult to injury, for bilingual education?

Where was the concern that we as a people are compelled to deal with these “in your face” issues which have been imposed upon us by external forces, instead of focusing our time, energies and capital on our own indigenous, urgent concerns, like for instance, the medical care for our own countrymen and women. Might it be irresponsible to mislead the 20 million illegal foreigners already here and might it be immoral to encourage the yearly arrival of millions more when we cannot even take care of our own millions of poor and sick and hungry and, yes, dare I say it, our unemployed?

Little in the current situation resembles the immigration we knew and cherished while growing up in America prior to the ’80s. The new and radically dislocating phenomenon we are enduring is not the old, familiar immigration of yesteryear — gradual, orderly, assimilating and lawful. The numbers alone are unprecedented. The American people have been made the victims of monumental social engineering perpetuated upon them without their consent and against their will by an arrogant governing elite. Those who try to neutralize their justifiable instincts of self-preservation as a people and a sovereign nation by constantly invoking the mantra of “a nation of immigrants” are trying to pull the wool over their eyes.

    I agree totally.
But as my relatives like to say: What can we do about it?
This is such a slippery problem, and is so alien and surreal,
that no one really knows what to do.
Sure you can mail the sob’s in d.c., but they won’t listen.
They don’t care. They don’t have to deal with being around
these illegal aliens all the time, like us.
I really don’t know if there is anything we can do.
We need a national vehical of some kind.
The communist reconquista’s have the ford foundation, aclu,
southern poverty scam center, ad infinitum. (plus the media)
We have nothing in comparison, to the power of these groups.
Also we as real Americans, don’t go around marching as the other “minorities” like to do.
    So what do we do?
We seem to have lost our strength and our fighting spirit.
Somehow, I don’t know how, we as Anglo-Americans have to get it back, or we will loose everything. I’d say within 25 years.
Mexicans are natural communists, and one party people.
The revolution they quietly want and wish for will start in
California, probably in 15 years. By that time things will be
    really ripe there.
    Please God save America.
    Our politicians don’t care.
And mexicans don’t understand anything but destruction.

The president, the senate, and most of the congressional members of congress are supporting the invasion of the United States of America, plain and simple. WHERE ARE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE and why are these TREASONOUS BASTARDS not in hand cuffs being imprisoned/executed.

They are in control that’s why, and the AMERICAN PEOPLE apparently do not give a shit, except for a few apparently. WAKE UP NOW IT IS ALMOST TO LATE.

  3. Sherry Says:

Getting Congress to come up with this Bill was all a scam anyway. When Fox was elected in 2000, he is quoted as saying he could get Bush to cut a deal to completely open the borders. The deed was almost done but got put on hold because of 9/11. Obvioiusly not a good time to speak of “open borders”.

One would wonder what the President of a third world country would have to trade with the grandson of money, G.W. Bush. Well, recently, Pat Robertson called for the removal of Hugo Chavez. He is quoted as saying troops should be sent in to remove him from office. His regime had to be stamped out.

Again, one would wonder what an american religious leader has to do with Venezulean civics. Well we all know Chavez sits on a pile of oil, as big or bigger than the Middle East. Those of you living in the east know of Citgo. That is Venezuela’s American subsidiary.

I think Junior has had his eye on that oil for over 6 years and is now trying to realize his dream of controllling the global oil supply. Unfortunately the southwestern part of the United States went with the deal. So ladies and gents, I think we’ve been played like a baby grand.

The situation is very serious, especially in the border states. Threats of violence everywhere. I envision this turning into a civil war at some point in the not too distant future. America has changed and it won’t ever be the same again. My heart is as heavy as everyone else’s. But the good news is we are not helpless. We have always been a people who fought for what we wanted, so we are going to have to organize, demonstrate, walk in, sit in and get some real live pictures in the media of what our lives are like on a day to day basis. Anyone who is a filmmaker should put together a documentary of a day in the life of an American. We have to make ourselves heard.

Mexicans are getting the coverage because they are vocal. They are gaining momentum by feeding off our misery. Well it’s 4th quarter and we’re down by 10, so lets stop feeling sorry for ourselves and come out fighting and not just go down to defeat. Organize in your communities. Any attorneys out there? Is there anyway the american people could take Junior to court and get an injunction that would stop him from selling off this land from underneath us? These are extrodinary times and they call for extrodinary measures.

Are there any Mexicans out there that oppose this latest immigration bill? If so, please let your voices be heard.

Keep your heads up people, Its not over until its over.

  5. George Says:

The United States must not be Mexico’s answer to its social and economic problems!!

  6. George Says:

Those who come into this country illegally, demonstrate and scream reconquista should stop and think about what the southwest was like before it became part of the United States of America.

If Mexico was still in possession of the southwest, it would be no better then it was 200 years ago.

If they want the land they can have it. But, they can’t have the infrastructure. And that land down there is not worth much without the infrastructure!!! Remember the Alamo!!!!!

  7. Sherri Says:

Sherry’s letter is right on! It’s time for Americans to stand up and fight for what’s theirs! I’m afraid that things will escalate and turn into civil war, and I don’t want to see that. American citizens should do mass protests all over the country, waving American flags and singing patriotic songs on Cinco De Mayo. And millions should march on Washington D.C. and stand in front of the White House and Congress and let them know exactly how serious we take this problem. Let them know we’re angry and we’re not going to take it anymore.

  8. Doodallbug Says:

Wake up folks!!!They latinos outsmarted us!!! Any business small or big that allowed these people to work for them thinking that they were going to make a fortune having “Cheap Labor” working for them contributed to this problem…How long do you think will it take before these people to unite and demand higher wages too…and let me tell you they will now that they KNOW they have the “Numbers” to accomplish this?????? GREED is what killed US..and now WE are going to have to PAY for it!!! Treasonous politions didn’t help matters much either!!! The latinos KNOW what they are doing Folks…and they have already won!!! They are way to strong now to ever get rid of now accept through civil war…STOP HIRING THESE PEOPLE…That will help too!

But trully I feel its way to late to do anything about it now….theres 30 million or more of these people here now…TO LATE Folks…We should never have let this happen in the first place!

ONLY “Armaggedon” will solve this problem…and its comming FAST!!!!!

  9. Jimmy Says:

Doodallbug: It’s not so easy, not to hire illegals.
Case in point. My mom and dad run a small business in
Texas. They are honest and always try to follow the law
as best as they know. That isn’t good enough for our government, however.

When Bush Sr. was president, the gov told companies to make sure the green card was not faked. (or else).
Now how are we supposed to do that? One day a former worker came in and reapplied for a job. The green card was smeared and didn’t look legit to my poor mom who is in charge of hiring. The woman applicant (mexican) was not hired. She promptly went to the town priest and raised hell.
Next thing we knew a Bush Administration attack dog lawyer,
(young, female, mexican) came down and did her best to prove we were discriminating against mexicans. Of course we are not that stupid, and know the score, that you will be destroyed if you “discriminate”.
The long and short of it is that that bee-itch, made life miserable for my poor folks for a week, then thankfully she left, without proving her case.

We had to hire a lawyer of our own, the mexican got a hell-raiser for free. It cost us money, worry, and fear. It didn’t cost the mexican anything. In the end she just disappeared.

So saying companies should be punished is just too simple.
The corrupt sob government we have is the real reason we are in this mess. The people don’t want this crap. It is being forced on us; most companies are under the threat of total die-struction, if you don’t do it their way.

Even trying to follow what the government says it wants is no guarantee, that they won’t send an attack bee-itch your way.

I don’t think the government wants Anglo small business to succeed or exist anymore.

A thought that ran through my mind while all this crap was going on is: Why is this happening under a Republican? I thought it was the democrates who did this sort of thing.

Come November, all those republicans who voted for amnesty will get a democrate vote from me. (for the 1st time in my life).

I only wish Tancreto was president now, and not what we have got. I feel ill, just thinking about him and his amnesty.

  10. james Says:

Dont let them control with this racism brainwashing tactic. Mexican immigrants are clearly above the law. It is not racism to press the govt to enforce federal laws. It is amzing that a homeless man will get locked up for a dime bag of crack but a foreigner can enter the country illegally and evade taxes with impunity. This is not a call for to wake you up this is a call to war. Our own government has been hijacked by foreign interests that are not looking out for our best interests.
I know people that have lived in Mexico. Gringos are robbed by the government and treated like slaves. Of course the tourists never see the real Mexico as they are shielded in by a Mexican tourism industry protected shell. If you go there to live a few years you will see that the illegals in the United States have far more rights than Mexico’s own citizens. If something isnt done soon about massive illegal immigration we will see our country dissolved and a new Mexican style aristocratic democracy installed. As america sleeps they work day and night to undermine the system and control the government.
