Illegal Aliens Attack Americans At March

Dallas News

Few counterprotesters turned out for Sunday’s pro-immigration march, but their message drew a lot of attention.

No more than two dozen clustered behind a phalanx of police in riot gear and on horseback, as thousands of marchers glowered and yelled at them from just a few yards away, sparking some testy moments that left some people fearing for their safety.

Emotions were high, but the only violence came when several people threw plastic bottles at the counterprotesters. The bottles also hit police and journalists, but no one was injured or arrested during the three-hour exchange.

Some counterprotesters expressed concern over their safety and accepted a police offer to be escorted out of the area.

“I don’t like the numbers,” Jennifer Palmer, 34, of Dallas said as she prepared to leave, shielded by a police officer. “I’ve almost been hit in the head three times.”

Most of the counterprotesters said they were determined to stay, despite being vastly outnumbered. And they were angry that marchers tossed bottles at them.

“We’re out here peacefully protesting, and we’re being attacked,” said Joe Youngblood, 25, of Dallas.

It is frequently commented on how sad it is that our numbers are so small in things like this, and it is very easy to read the wrong meaning into the abscence of Americans there to protect what is theirs. The fact is that such manifestations are not very much a part of our culture. We are civilized and frequently unfortunatley we believe that the machinery of governance will work like a well oiled machine. We see it beneath our dignity-and it is-to take to the streets and fight for what the fed should have been fighting against 50 years ago. Reluctantly we are going to have to learn that we cannot afford any longer to remain aloof from the problem. The fed, the state and a majority of municipalities have abandonded us. The only people to put things right is us. It may be a long time till we can sit easily in our chairs in the evening, as of old. But God Bless until that day!

KRLD radio, I believe, 1080 this morning did a news piece on the mega-march yesterday.
They said it was amazingly peaceful, with lots of American flags.
They said one man was arrested on an unrelated public intoxication charge.

The radio then said a counter-demonstration had an issue with bottles of water thrown. The radio made it seem like the counter-demonstrators were the perps. The radio worded to seem that way, without really saying it, if you know what I mean.

The media here in Dallas is totally pro Mexican. So slanting it against the good guys doesn’t surprise me. But I felt anger.

If it wasn’t for this web-site, I would still think that the bottle throwers were white.

The media and the government; the flip side of the same anti-American coin.

Teddy had it so right!? Not Kennedy, but Roosevelt!?

Theodore Roosevelt’s ideas on Immigrants and being an AMERICAN in 1907.

“In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person’s becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American…There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn’t an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag… We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language… and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.”

I saw this story on Michelle Malkin’s website. Interesting how none of the Hispanic protesters were arrested, and they were the ones throwing the bottles. Americans need to take a day off and get out into the streets and protest nationally. EVERYONE! If I knew of a march near me, I’d definately go!

I knew you would be an activist someday. I guess the apple really didn’t fall very far. Remember, real permanent change comes from working on the inside. Folks can holler and scream all they want on the outside, and no real change happens. Look at Mrs. Sheehan, and learn what not to do from her and those like her. You are a good man. Take the fire in your belly into politics or the Ministry. If you get into politics, learn law. Don’t learn just an interpretation of the law.
