Minutemen Lead Caravan to D.C.

Washington Times

The Minuteman Project, which has sent hundreds of volunteers to the U.S.-Mexico border to help prevent illegal crossings, has organized a national caravan to the District to protest weak immigration enforcement efforts by Congress and the White House.

‘Our message to every member of Congress is clear: We will remember where you stood in this crucial fight to protect American sovereignty and the safety of America’s citizens on Election Day,’ Mr. Gilchrist said.

The caravan will begin in Los Angeles on May 3 and end in the District May 12 — with a stop at President Bush’s hometown of Crawford, Texas, on May 6 (A Reckoning) to highlight what caravan organizers said was ‘the president’s lack of leadership in this important aspect of homeland security.’

Come on in Minutemen! Glad to see ya! Please make it a point to drive through the following areas on the way in:

    Herndon, VA
    Wheaton, MD
    Langley Park, MD
Takoma Park, MD - Stop and say howdy to the folks at CASA De Maryland (tax payer funded). Torres, the Executive Director there, is the goon who threaten to stalk your children in school and taunt your familes at home. Please say howdy to that goon.

From there, take 16th Street, NW into downtown D.C. As you drive down 16th Street you will notice a lot of “supporters” there waving fake green cards and phony IDs. A lot.

Once in town, you will be in the heartland of our policy making. It will be a pleasure to see you instead of Fat Teddy and Hillarious Hillary. See you there!

Don’t try darling, make it happen. If just you and one other person goes it will help. I have talked my brother in to going, but so far that is it. Everyone I talk to about it is concerned, but it seems they are too busy or are afraid to get involved.

I will be there you can take that to the bank. I wish I could afford to be with the Minutemen more but everytime I turn around I am writing bigger and bigger checks and getting less. I am going broke. It seems that the next ENRON will be PEPCo here in the nation’s capitol. Not only can we not control the borders, war in the Middle East, and big oil company gouging…. I am getting bills for over $400.00 a month to heat and cool my house. That is a car payment and they are going up.

Former Texan from Houston and Dallas (74 through 85). Vote these bums out!

I think I’m going to make a sign that says this:
    I am an AmeriCAN
    Bush is an AmeriCAN”T

Thanks to all the stuff I learned on these sites, he is now supporting the cause. He really thought that we don’t count, but we have to do something. If this country goes to hell, at least we can say we tried our best.
