Mayor Assures Town That Laws Will Not Be Enforced

The way illegal aliens freak out about this sort of thing is a clear indicator of just how effective it would be if we actually enforced our workplace laws. People would move back to their country of origin and those considering to come here illegally wouldn’t bother.

So let’s do it. Let’s enforce the laws.

Authorities in Rockford, Ill are still trying to make sense of the rumors about Immigration and Naturalization Service activity in Rockford. Hundreds of local Hispanics didn’t show up for work. Hispanic children were pulled out of class by their families, and all this commotion for what turned out to be false rumors.

Over 100 people organized outside City Hall during the city council meeting Monday night. Mayor Morrissey and several city aldermen held an impromptu press conference to try and calm the nerves of the crowd.

It is possible that people were driving around posing as immigration officials, but nothing has been confirmed. INS authorities say no activity is taking place in Rockford.

Outside City Hall Mayor Morrissey assured the crowd, “I would be extremely upset if I found out INS in the midst of this national debate that’s being waged, was involved in an operation that creates panic in our community.”

It was also rumored that the Rockford Police Department was picking up illegal immigrants on Monday and holding them in the basement of the Metro Center. This was another false accusation.

Tuesday Rockford Chief of Police Chet Epperson told 23 News the last thing police want is for people to be afraid to leave their homes for any reason, especially because of possible harassment from police.

According to Epperson, local police have neither the authority nor the desire to round up illegal aliens.

…”Tuesday Rockford Chief of Police Chet Epperson told 23 News the last thing police want is for people to be afraid to leave their homes for any reason, especially because of possible harassment from police….” Maybe someone ought to tell Chief of Police Chet Epperson that the citizenry of Rockford- formerly a bedrock American small city- are now affraid to leave their homes at night because of the arrival of the Chosen People. That they no longer sit so easily in their chairs at night after dinner, knowing that they now have to lock their doors everywhere they go, be extra vigilant with their daughters and sons, and guard their tounges in public speech now because public discourse has been made a minefield for them to cross. -one ‘wrong’ statement-such as “America is for Americans” could at any moment cause scandal and arguement anyplace-even at their own dinner tables. So in fact- they are in a way becoming homeless- whereas Chet and his Loverlys rest warm and snug in the full embrace of the official arms of the municipality. May he burn.

Spread the “rumors”. Especially if you speak Spanish. Here’s a novel idea. Enforce the laws that are currently on the books.

  3. Anti-Illigal Immigrations Says:

Creating fear of deportations should be a good deterent in a fight against illigal aliens invasions.

So these people march in the streets saying that they’re not criminals, but when there are rumors of INS sweeps, they run and hide? A clear-cut example of what would happen if we actually enforced our immigration laws! ENFORCE THE LAW NOW!
