Illegal Aliens Feel Oppressed

Daily Record

MORRISTOWN — Emotions from town residents on the issue of immigrants living illegally in the United States and Morristown flared at a council meeting Tuesday night, following more than three months of parrying between town officials and illegal alien advocates.

A group of about 20 Hispanic illegal alien day workers and members of immigrant advocacy group Wind of the Spirit handed Mayor Donald Cresitello a letter asking him to halt measures they feel are meant to oppress them.

I am American, living in another country presently. If I miss my visa renewal deadline I will be fined and possibly deported. So why do illegal “immigrants” in America feel oppressed? If I drive at 80 MPH on a road with a 65 MPH speed limit and then I get a ticket do I have any right to feel oppressed?

We Americans are letting foreigners coopt our culture of legality. Sure we have amnesty but until forgiveness is applied, illegal immigrants should feel oppressed.

  2. Anti-Illigal Immigrations Says:

This is one of many hundred examples when these illigal law breakers are getting more and more stern and aggressive in their demands for privileges that they are not entitled to all over our the nation. And aggressiveness are not very far off from violence. So be ready America.

  3. Anti-Illigal Immigrations Says:

Anything, including fear of deportations, acts as a deterent in a fight against illigal immigrations is a welcome.

  4. Sherri Says:

Boo hoo! These people feel oppressed. Well so do Americans that lose jobs to cheap, foreign labor and have their money sucked out of their wallets to pay the cost of caring for these people. I have no sympathy for them what so ever. They broke the law, and they’re getting what they deserve. Good for Donald Cresitello! We need more like him–someone who remembers who he works for!

  5. Eddie B. Says:

I guess they did not feel “oppressed” in Mexico. Great country. Land of the free. Freedon of speech. Right to legally bear arms. Economic freedom to earn a descent living. Too bad they didn’t march to protest their rights in their native lands. You would think that 10 or 12 million Mexicas marching in Mexico City would have an affect. Guess not. I guess you have got to come up here to have that right, right?

  6. Craig Says:

How can so many people be misguided?

I’ve met many good Mexican people. They are hard working, speak English and are happy, polite and generous. They really are model citizens. Unfortunately they are outnumbered about 5000/1.

If I were to crap all over my house, let the plumbing and paint go to hell and generally let the house get into such a state of disrepair that it becomes unliveable. In the mecha way of thinnking I would have the right to kick my neighbor out and move into his house, and the next house after that.

Say aztlan becomes a reality. What happens when the southern states turn into a cesspool like mexico? They go north. When all of America is turned into a garbage dump what’s next, Canada, Alaska, Europe?!

This virus has to be inoculated now.

  7. Craig Says:

Woops, i got ahead of myself. I meant to post this in the mecha thread above.

I’m actually glad that the latinos are showing America their true side. I’ve seen their self centered, arrogant, and non-educated behavior flower in Florida for the last 25 years. We have laws that protect us, as Americans, and give us a reasonably secure lifestyle. These laws even govern growth of our cities and infrastructure to prevent too many Americans from moving to any one place. Why would we continue to allow foreigners, who came here against the law, the right to protest the validity of our laws, if they don’t have the intelligence to abide by them? Go to Miami and witness the slum first hand. When the traffic is snarled, which is most of the time, these beaners drive on the sidewalk, cut across gas station corners, and run red lights, 5 at a time.
