Mr. President, I’m Heading To Mexico

Dear President Bush:

I’m about to plan a little trip with my family and extended family, and I would like to ask you to assist me. I’m going to walk across the border from the U.S. into Mexico, and I need to make a few arrangements. I know you can help with this.

I plan to skip all the legal stuff like visas, passports, immigration quotas and laws. I’m sure they handle those things the same way you do here.

So, would you mind telling your buddy, President Vicente Fox, that I’m on my way over? Please let him know that I will be expecting the following:

1. Free medical care for my entire family.
2. English-speaking government bureaucrats for all services I might need, whether I use them or not.
3. All government forms need to be printed in English.
4. I want my kids to be taught by English-speaking teachers.
5. Schools need to include classes on American culture and history.
6. I want my kids to see the American flag flying on the top of the flag pole at their school with the Mexican flag flying lower down.
7. Please plan to feed my kids at school for both breakfast and lunch.
8. I will need a local Mexican driver’s license so I can get easy access to government services.
9. I do not plan to have any car insurance, and I won’t make any effort to learn local traffic laws.
10. In case one of the Mexican police officers does not get the memo from Pres. Fox to leave me alone, please be sure that all police officers speak English.
11. I plan to fly the U.S. flag from my house top, put flag decals on my car, and have a gigantic celebration on July 4th. I do not want any complaints or negative comments from the locals.
12. I would also like to have a nice job without paying any taxes, and don’t enforce any labor laws or tax laws.
13. Please tell all the people in the country to be extremely nice and never say a critical word about me, or about the strain I might place on the economy.

I know this is an easy request because you already do all these things for all the people who come to the U.S. from Mexico. I am sure that Pres. Fox won’t mind returning the favor if you ask him nicely.

Thank you so much for your kind help.

FANTASTIC LETTER! It pinpoints EXACTLY what’s wrong with how illegal aliens are treated here. A copy of this should be sent to President Bush and every member of Congress. If an American can’t get these things in Mexico or other foreign nations, ILLEGAL ALIENS SHOULD NOT BE GRANTED THE SAME THINGS!

  2. hiro manukian Says:

At the top of the page where this post resides there was a quote about it not being a human right to enter another country illegally, or something like that- i actually found that rather shocking- and stupid and ignorant.

Did you really think that the world would remain static after the invention of the USA? For millenia there has been movement over the globe by It’s peoples due to all sorts of events and changes- why would NOW be any different?

Just because once upon a time a continent was invaded by white people and stolen from the indigenous peoples does not mean that the world stops spinning- it is just a “glitch” (yes a brutal one to be sure) in the long history
of the PEOPLE of this PLANET.

So you thought you owned your continent- well, you were wrong…you thought you were going to own the planet too…but you are wrong…

the Earth is One Home for All People- and the sooner everyone realizes that the better off everyone will be….or do you enjoy the vision of endless war, brutality, starvation and all the rest? What is it you want to protect, mmm? your higher rung on the ladder based on the oppression and destruction of those lower down, of course.

But the trouble is- there is a world outside your walls, teeming with life, billions of people all over the place—the recent domination of the West of the World over the East of the World cannot possibly hold for much longer- tho’ there shall be war and destruction in the attempt to hold the line.

The West has fought hard to gain the wealth it has achieved and has left a trail of blood and anger and arrogance- hopefully those who shall come will have a more moderate and “loving” outlook…but then who can blame them if they don’t for they will only be emulating their Teachers.

America be pragmatic- start apologising NOW! Start changing your ways and views NOW! Become a shining spiritual light of kindness and love NOW…that way maybe the repercussions might not be so bad.

  3. The Watchdog Says:

And if I don’t apologize, what will you do to me? Kill me with your kindness?

If you want to have peace, Hiro. You should respect me and my country.

  4. Vincent Narodnik Says:

Hiro. Is that pronounced like HERO? lets not- it might confuse the two. There is a better quote which you ought to stuff in your opium pipe and smoke deeply of hiro. “Those who love ‘Humanity’ in the abstract, are the most likely to hate HUMANS [in the concrete i.e. individual] if you need more explication on that, leave a note and ill burn one in for you. Till then. Keep in mind that those of you who engage in competition humanitarianism do so only to cover the shame you feel for lack of competence in the real world [you are invertebrates, eunuchs, etc.] Your motivation is ultimately self serving because you seek in engaging in the behavior to bring a glow of munificence to your otherwise glowersome selves. No one is fooled. I’ll come back and incinerate any ‘points’ you made in a while-gotta head off and do a job which ‘no American will do’

  5. Brad Says:

What planet are you living on Hiro?

  6. Jimmy Says:

What Hiro says is crap of course.
This is another reason to repeal the Immigration Act of 1965.

Had it not been for that, he probably would not be here to pontificate to us rednecks.

    God bless Anglo-America

  7. The Watchdog Says:

From looking at his IP address, I think Hiro is writing to us from Australia.

  8. Vincent Narodnik Says:

Manukian is an Armenian name if that is his real name. Hiro I dont know to be Armenian. Japanese, sure. I will say on his behalf , he is pretty thouroughly studied in his craft. Abscent are the usual slogans and faulty reasonings you usually here from people of his kind. But being a connosieur of Bulls–t is no credit to a man. It is better to be a menefreghisto than a false humanitarian. [menefreghisto is an Italian word for people who dont give a damn] -at least you HONESTLY dont give a damn, whereas for earth-angels like Hiro, the phony caring is only a device to seize power which they cannot get by manly means, and wield it on unwilling and unoffending populations for narrow and usually insane idealisms. I lived for a time as an illegal alien in a nation that was subject to such monsters [in eastern europe] and for that I have a permanent allergy to people who have aggressively munificent aspirations for me. More on this later.

  9. Vincent Narodnik Says:

Here is a link to an article which is of indierect interest to topic of posting above, but speaks directly to the mindframe of Hiro, above. Its kind of long, but here we are on the cusp of a long weekend. It deals with the spiritual underpinnings of the mindframe that sees open-borders as the ONLY ‘compassionate’ way to deal with benighted nations. The author, btw, is now a prof. at Harvard if, perhaps, hiro would like to refute his understandings…?

  10. Vincent Narodnik Says:

If I may, here is another hard-hitting Lee Penn article which is more recent than the one given above. Both are well worth your attention.

  11. James CJ Says:

If you could wave a magic wand and instantly send all 10-20 million illegals back to their home country (with or without their children) are you prepared for the consequences? Are you ready for the food shortages? Your favorite restaurants closing or raising prices overnight? Your $10 lunch becoming $20? Your $1.50/lb chicken jumping to $4.00?

We are all complicit in the influx of illegals. We have refused to pay citizens to do all of the crap jobs we take for granted. We don’t encourage high school students to enter the trades, even though there can be good money in it. And, bottom line, we are soon going to be retiring around 3 people for every person born — that will get worse, not better — resulting in a continual labor shortage.

Last time I checked, personal robots were still a ways off. We NEED laborers. And forget the classist/racist crap, if everyone on some form of stipend were fully employable we’d still have a labor shortage.

THAT is the reality. Is illegal immigration an issue? Damn right. Are drugs an issue? Damn right. Same problem. Supply and demand at a price that the consumer is willing to spend.

It’s nothing more then economics. Follow the money, stupid.

  12. The Watchdog Says:

Food shortages? Labor shortage? Nice try, James. I hope you’ll hang around this site more often because you really need some help. These tired cliches you are using have been beaten to death over and over again. It’s embarrassing really.

  13. Michael Says:

Actually what’s embarrassing is how you lazy ass rednecks can’t get off your ass to do the jobs hard working Mexicans have to do for you!! You claim to love this country, yet refuse to get off your asses and actually do something for the country you “love”. Even now, when you say illegal immigrants are a “threat” you’re not doing anything about it!!! I mean, do you really think saying bullshit about us in this website will make a difference?? Well newsflash: it’s not!! But it’s ok because you guys aren’t a threat to us. We know that you are too damn lazy to get off from in from in front of the computer you guys bought off of welfare checks and do something else!! So good job!! Keep up the laziness!! Oh yeah, and let me ask you a question, “What exactly did you do to deserve citizenship in this country??” NOTHING? Yeah that’s what I thought!! So enough with the “go back to your country” bullshit and get a life!!!

  14. Joy Says:

A copy of this request per reader should be sent to President Bush. Great idea!

  15. Jimmy Says:

Michael, your comments are similar to Hiro’s, but a little nastier.
We would have more time and energy to do things, if we didn’t have to support and pay for your raza buddies via extortionate taxation.
Keep it up. More and more. We ARE waking up.
Keep waving the raza flag. Keep pushing for a communist state called Aztlan.
Keep those kids marching,( who don’t deserve citizenship, and shouldn’t be here in the 1st place.)
We deserve our citizenship for many reasons, which you would not understand. We settled the barren land. Raza stayed in the more pleasant Mexican interior.

Raza wouldn’t be here now if it wasn’t for us. We built, and your types just walk in and occupy.

And by the way, we ARE making a difference now.
Thanks for the flag waving marches. It helped a lot of people to wake up to the real agenda of the communist dominated raza movement.

  16. stupidwhiteguy Says:

So Michael, you assume that rednecks/white people (apparently you make no distinction between the two) are not willing to do hard labor? I’ve got several friends who bitch constantly because they are looking for work, and they are perfectly willing to pick fruit, tend fields, mow lawns, and trim hedges. The problem is they can’t do it because there’s some illegal alien who’ll do it for a fraction they would want for their work. Even some other buddies of mine who work in a foundry can barely scrape by because illegal aliens will do the same work for far, far less.

Oh, and if you accuse white people of being lazy, go check out the Minutemen (of course you’ll just spout off about how racist they are). They don’t seem as lazy as you’d have us believe white people are. If you assume that all white people are lazy and incapable, you are a racist. You are making assumptions about someone’s character due to the color of their skin.

Legal, regulated immigration made this country what it is. People can come here to live and work, but they’ve gotta do the right thing and get registered and matriculated. If they don’t, they are NOT citizens, and should not be given the rights of citizens.

HM-*It’s the “nut jobs” at the top that I don’t respect- and I don’t think they respect their constituency at all.

“Those who love Humanity’ in the abstract, are the most likely to hate HUMANS [in the concrete i.e. individual]

HM- *actually it’s the abstract humanity that i “hate” whereas the individuals (mostly) all seem sort of “nice” up close….

It is better to be a menefreghisto than a false humanitarian.

HM* yes i agree with that…and i will give that “ideology” a tryout- see how it feels, tho’ i am probably already there, i mean what sort of humanitarian wants to stick all the politicians and the overpaid crooks against a wall and accelerate them into “heaven-with-their-boots-on”?
    Michael Says:

    etc etc etc

HM* watch out for this type- once they are “in” they become the worst sort of right winged fascist types…
My point originally was that the centre is not going to hold - just look at it now…our governments have got our military defences stretched to the point that if we actually needed them at home for ‘defence’ we would be in deep trouble….we are so in debt that consumption at all costs must be increased continually…and yet our indigenous populations are shrinking and worse aging….we are in an energy crisis…a water crisis (here)…a labour crisis, and ideological crisis, our freedoms are being removed every day —and our “leaders” lie and lie and lie…the weather has gone bananas, we are in the biggest extinction event in history and we are due for a meteor any day now(statistically speaking)…..and have you heard the music on the radio lately?

Everything has gone to the dogs, as they say. But I have a solution…while all the “immigrants” are getting in I am going to quietly slip out- things are quite cheap in Mexico after all, and the women are very beautiful.

  18. Todd Says:

While traveling most recently in Taiwan, I read an article in reference to Illegal Foreign Workers or what some US news agency’s refer to as undocumented workers otherwise know as Illegal Aliens.
    The Government of Taiwan is very concerned that they believe that there are currently 23,574 illegal foreign workers in their country and has recently increased the fines for hiring such individuals;
    Under the Employment Service Act,
here are the new fines that took effect on April 12, 2006:
First offense: The company is fined $5,000.00 - $25,000 USD
Second offense: The hiring manager will be sentence to 3 years in jail and the company will be fined $40,000 USD, in addition the workers are deported to their country of origin within 48 hours.

Perhaps our federal and local governments could learn from other countries on how to handle the Illegal Workers that enter our country every single day!!!

  19. RickyD Says:

Its very simple really.. like the letter says.. just give everyone the same rights they would give us in their country.. NONE.. and here is another frame of thought.. I am a 14th generation American.. I have traced my family back to 1742 in Virginia.. so I offer you this. You can have the same rights I have..
NO free medical care.. I can’t get treated with out payment
No free lunchs for my kids at school
No free tuition at college, cash up front or your out

and my final thougt is this.. if you want all of these free things and your willing to protest and such… why not just fix your own countrys problems?
